		<description>They have a link to a fairly extensive report on their site that outlines specific plans of action in each area of cancer treatment, from palliation to research to treatment-proper. You're right: It is all talk at this point, but with lung cancer obviously floundering behind all other cancers in terms of progress, it's nice to see an organization take an organized stand to do something about it. Whether it'll happen or not is another issue entirely.:)

Sweden in particular has seen its lung cancer rates drop dramatically with the increasingly popularity of snus, which is smokeless tobacco. I'm not entirely sure if this is less risky to the individual, but it most definitely reduces disease due to secondhand smoke.</description>

If someone wants to cure lung cancer they have to come up with something to smoke that is harmless yet more addictive then tobacco.</description>
