  1. Good for you! I’m so happy Americans have such a good candidate this time around. I really hope for the world’s sake you get a better president. I almost feel that our life in Canada is so strongly influenced by your politics that we should get to vote too :)

  3. Tee hee. Did I ever tell you that during the 2004 election, when I was back in Chicago, I shook Obama’s hand at the polls? He lived in my voting district and we were both there at the same time (7 AM or so), and he was in my path as I headed to the ballot box. It was really cool.

  4. That’s awesome. The closest I came to fame (other than these, of course) was shaking Paul Simon’s hand when I was a wee one, but Obama’s would be so much better.
