Obama/Gore ‘08
I am drooling just thinking about it.
But more people voted for Gore in 2000 than for Bush. Gore should be finishing out his second term.
As if there weren’t a million already, this is reason enough for Obama to pick Gore as his running mate.
Alas…the Electoral College actually decides the winner of the presidential election. Not saying that’s the best way to do it, but those are the established rules of the game. They could be changed if enough people felt they weren’t good rules.
So Bush should rightfully be the current president, as unhappy as it makes folks…not only because he was elected in 2000, but also because he was elected again in 2004.
Just curious, do you have any other conservative friends? If not, I will step up to the plate to bring you the half of the picture. : )
